Thank
you soooooo much. You don't know how much that meant to Jess (and
us). You and Rachel were so kind and gentle with the kids. I'm
including a snapshot from the day. That smile of hers says
it all and it warms our heart. Thanks for a making a little girls bday wish come true. Hopefully we will see you this summer for a
camp ;) Take care and thank you again,
Cindy

Hi Diane
We have been so happy at Windy
Meadows, the horses are happy and healthy, the boarders are so nice, Jerry
and Kristofer are the hardest workers and so pleasant to be around, and
Kirsten is so much fun and we finally feel like we are getting somewhere
with our horses. You have a wonderful barn! Thanks for everything.

Sorry it has taken me long to get back on a update, but I wanted to get
you some pictures so you can see he is doing GREAT! I am so grateful that
this guy was with you at your lovely farm and was well taken care of. He
has been and is WONDERFUL! I have had him out on one trail ride and 2 cubbings. This is truly a gift from God! I could not be doing what I need to
do and go on if this horse was anything but what you said he is!
Last Sunday, we went out on a cubbing, one Arab (25YO) was jigging almost
the whole time, and a new TB was out for the 1st time. I am on Bandy
and he is taking it like a trooper, he held it all under control!
Unflappable! He is all that an more- horses, hounds, horns, rustling
leaves, farm equipment, deer stands, brush, corn fields, cars, pavement,
small creek (he did do a nice control jump), up hills, down hills, he knows
his job! I just don't know what I can tell you that you do not already
know!
The only problem, DO YOU HAVE MORE? I have several people that want
what I have! Please tell all the riders, trainers, people and horses
that love Bandit that he is the STAR! He is happy, getting good food,
pasture, being loved and groomed, ridden daily and has new stuff, new
saddle, blanket, pads, shoes, halter, and bridle.
My "Knight in Shining Armor" as I always called Apache, is doing OK.
I am still medicating his eyes and will until he is not comfortable. Totem
(my show paint horse) is truly a wonderful babysitter and thinks now that I
got Bandit "Shewwww, good, now I don't have to do all that work!" I
brush everyone and give everyone treats because I love them all, each is
good in there own way and has given me joy.
My mother in law has taught Bandit that peppermints come in a crinkling
wrapper and that is how I get him on the trailer. He does not need
much, he pretty much will get on, slow and steady. He is a dream!
Here are some pictures from last Sundays cubbing. Next Saturday is
our opening meet and I know that I will get good pictures with Bandit
leading the flight.! Faith and fate, that is what brought us together!
P.S. The picture of Bandit getting water; one morning, I turned the hose
on at the water trough and he is covered that he could drink from it , but
the funny thing was.....he was spraying OZ in the next field! And OZ
(TB) could not figure out what was going on! It seemed like Bandit KNEW what
he was doing! I grabbed a picture with my cell! I love him!
Thanks again! I would love to come visit again, but I would not
bring Bandit cause you might keep him!

I wanted to send a picture to show you his new home and
surroundings. He is perfect, not a care in the world! He acts like he has
lived here all his life! I'm going to get on him today in my ring! The
picture is the back of my house, from the inside of my house. I can go to
any room and see the pastures all around, barn too!
Thank you so much for your honesty and integrity!

My years of searching for the perfect stable culminated in the spring of 2007 when I moved my (now) 22 year old Thoroughbred gelding, Rocky, to Windy Meadows. We couldn't have asked for a better facility. Diane and her hand-picked staff of experts treat Rocky and I like family, and have made us feel very much at home.
Since our move, Rocky's personality has just blossomed. He is everything he should be at this stage in his life, a fat, happy, playful older man, who behaves more like a 12 year old. He has never been more relaxed in his life, and this is due to Diane and the staff keeping the barn atmosphere very laid back, drama-free, and making sure the horses get plenty of turn out on quality grass. It is a comfort to know that not only is there always someone on property incase of an emergency, but that if I can't make it out for whatever reason, my best friend is in good hands.
The A+ staff always make sure Rocky has a full belly, clean water and hooves, and a fresh coating of fly spray or the proper blanket (depending on the season). He never wants for anything, and I know neither of us ever will, under the watchful eye and gentle guidance of Diane Lemaster and the Windy Meadows family.
With warmest wishes,

My 16 year old Welsh Arab Platinum and I
have been at Windy Meadows for almost 4 years now. The owners have
always treated him as if he were one of their own horses. Due to my
busy work schedule, I am unable to visit the stables during the week, but I
never have to worry about whether he is fed, blanketed, fly sprayed, etc.
If there are ever any concerns about his health, they call me immediately
and they are always willing to do whatever it takes to help him get
healthy.
Because of their many years of experience, they are great to go to for
advice on anything from medical issues to training. The facilities are
top notch and with two outdoors and one indoor ring, a round pen, and
trails, no matter what your interest, there is always someplace to ride.
The atmosphere
over the years has always been casual and fun. My 3 year old loves to come
along to take “lessons” and to visit with the miniature horses and bunnies.
We plan to stay at Windy Meadows for many more years!

I have boarded my horses at Windy Meadows for the last 4 years.
I have piece of mind knowing that Diane and her staff are taking excellent care of
my horses. If they notice, something off, they alert me right away, they notice if
my horses need extra feed (or not). Diane has actually visited my horses when they
had injuries several times in the middle of the night to make sure that they are ok.
My horses are treated the same as hers. My horses love it there, and when they are
happy, it makes me happy!!

Kids Going Bananas Summer Day Camp has been coming to Windy Meadows
for 2 years now. The campers love the experience there! The staff is
so friendly and kind. They love to see all the animals – including
the bunnies, the ponies, and the horses. The farm is such a great
place for campers!! We love it!

Dear Diane,
Words cannot express how much the GMS Level 5 team (and parents!)
enjoyed our visit to your spectacular farm! Many thanks to you
and your daughter for leading the girls through a variety of new
and exciting experiences with bunnies, miniature horses and horses.
You both were absolutely phenomenal with the girls!
The activities were perfectly sequenced and incredibly well organized...
while being carried out with warmth and hospitality! Organizing
these special events must bring you great joy. For several girls,
this was their first experience on a farm. It was absolutely
priceless to see their faces and to know this was a day they
would never forget.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful
farm with us...and for making our trip to Windy Meadows Horse Farm a day to remember!
With Sincere Appreciation,
Sherrie
P.S. I forwarded the photos below to the team parents. I thought
you may also enjoy seeing the joy and gratitude expressed on the
